The SMI 50 Index is a measure of the value of Media Agency spend onto the US-based assets of the largest 50 Media Owners, across all Media Types – according to the SMI Agency Media spend data. The spend is weighted by Media Owner, according to size, where growth or decline in spend onto the assets of a larger vendor, will have a larger impact on the Index value, than a smaller vendor in the Top 50.
