Standard Media Index, in conjunction with our agency and brand partners, makes it possible for the industry to have a real-world view into advertising spend by product category, ad revenue to media publishers and digital platforms, media pricing including CPMs, and future-booked commitments.
The Americas
SMI has a range of offerings across media markets in the Americas. Given its size, United States not only has pool products but also advanced analytical products and services. Analytical products include SMI AccuTV, for the Linear Video marketplace, as well as the SMI Pricing Intelligence Suite which is rolling out starting in 2021 going into 2022 across Digital and Traditional media. In Canada, pool products include both SMI Core, for billing system data, as well as SMI Digital, which captures planning data. Mexico will also be debuting as a Pool Market in 2022. Collectively, this is the largest set of advertising activity in the region. All media types are included from Traditional media to Digital media. Finally, agencies in the region can contact us to learn how they can have their data cleaned and harmonized as we do in the three markets above as well as the other markets in the region where we’re doing data harmonization work.
